They were ready to retire but wanted to see Bread Basket live on and they believed Mark was the man for the Job. After a trip to Fort Worth and much prayer Mark and his first wife Linda (who passed away) believed this was God’s plan for his life. So they relocated to Fort Worth, and with a pickup truck, a dolly, and 501-C-3, Mark became the senior pastor and Executive Director of Bread Basket Ministries. 30 years later Bread Basket Ministries is now housed in an 8000 sq ft facility, and with the help of many amazing volunteers and donors, has served thousands of families, providing both food for the body and nourishment for the soul. In 2020 Mark and Colleen met through some mutual friends and were married. With her passion for people and ministry Colleen joined Mark and the Bread Basket family.
